Voljaryk Kickstarter update 02/03!

Kia ora Koutou,

As we start into the month of March all I can say is that time seems to fly! The current world climate and events have made the past few weeks a turbulent time for us all and wish only the best for all of you who are involved with our projects and your families. 

So with no further ado please find the updates for Voljaryk's Kickstarter below:

Stretch Goals:

We are proud to let you all know! that Frekki the first son of Voljaryk is ready for release in the next 24 hours 0.0 and my word he's a beauty!!! Check him out below:

Will you be the first to paint him? tag us and send us pictures of your prints for future social media posts :D

Huggin now begins his journey into the real world! We will bring you updates as his form begins to take shape at the hands of our 3d wizard Joaquin!

Portal Base:

We are aiming to have the Portal Base ready within two weeks. For those who are familiar with our other work you will know that we don't do things on a small scale and my goodness the clever work of Dan the magician has produced another beauty! It will be coming soon and brings another portion of Voljaryk's history to life!

Printed Voljaryk and Packaging:

At this stage Voljaryk's physical prints and packaging is coming along nicely we have finalized the best printing methods and will be concentrating on the shipping to begin in May 2022!

The reality is that Tenjin shipping has affected the physical delivery for Voljaryk, and therefore we have paused all future projects until we get those two physical deliveries completed. We know most of you want to see Blood Oak Chapter 1 board game as soon as possible (we do too!), but patience is key. As we mentioned in our discord before, we have a 6 to 9 years plan to conclude and deliver the whole Blood Oak Saga (3 Chapters), after that we will consider our vision for this universe concluded and move on to our next main project. We hope our continuous hard work on this universe, the journeys (and consequences) that each of our characters take brings an enjoyable experience and inspirations for you all at the end.

We will update you as soon as we have any other information at hand.

Each Ancestor will have a different color and shape on their Soul Ambers. And they will also be carrying the symbol of their tribe. Those symbols are all connected to the Blood Oak (Tree of Life), and represents how in our reality our religions have a similar, but yet different, view of the Tree of Life.

Kia ora Everyone!

It's February already! Feels like it was only yesterday we were celebrating Christmas time. With that in mind here are this fortnights updates for our beautiful Skuldungar Voljaryk:

Axe:

We have some gorgeous images renders on the latest addons for Voljaryk's.

  Available for Download

Torso and beard will be released on this weekend. (there are a few small tweaks left)

Frekki/Torso:

We have enlisted some talented artists and modellers to support our growing company and campaigns. We have some exciting news as Frekki closes in on completion over the next month, and a new torso for Voljaryk's stretch goals is also available!!

Soul Collector

We had a unexpected delay with the production of the Collectibles Soul Ambers.

We have been in contact with Moonstruck and we are aiming to have those ready with some nice pictures by next month.

Since we had only 18 backers for Soul collector we weren't able to get the minimum amount required for the packaging we envisioned, therefore we will need to use a normal packaging and we will make sure that all parts are well protected. As a compensation for this we would like to offer a free Lorebook sent to your house for free once ready. Each book is valued at NZD$30 and below are a few pictures of how Tenjin lorebook look like:

Also, Luiz and Rob (the writer) will be recording the next meeting and upload it on our Youtube channel as soon as possible for those who would like to have a peek on their creative process and how much thought its put on the small details of our Blood Oak universe.

Portal

The portal was going to a direction that appeared influenced by asian culture with the dragons, therefore we are focusing no on bringing it closer to the concept art. 

Portal illustration:

We started with 3 options for the Portal effect. So far we discarded only one (a moving illustration to be put on a cellphone in loop inside the portal). Our current focus lies in testing the Old World Illustration in the Lithophane. We will have pictures once we have something more presentable for you guys.

Charity Stream Success:

Thanks to all those who tuned in and showed your support when myself and Luiz appeared on twitch in a model painting charity stream with the talented people Prince of P_S_k Studios and Cygnarly also a shout out to Loot Die Repeat for their support. We managed to raise over the 6 hours of painting madness $1500 NZD in support of Mental Health here in our home country of New Zealand.

For those who had a keen eye you may have noticed that during the stream we were painting something rather unique and huge! Maybe something's on the horizon....

Fin here brining you some updates for our wonderful Voljaryk! Hope as we near the end of the first month of 2022 you are all well and finding your way through the unusual time we live in. Check out the updates below:

Ellika Bust:

We have been so proud of how the bust has come out! The details are immense and she is a beauty check out the video of Ellika coming together below by our 3D magician Dan and assembled by Luiz:

Stretch Goals:

The talented Joaquin is working on the first of the two sons of Voljaryk and we are excited to give you a glimpse of him shortly! We are also working on completing the other stretch goals and planning a timeline of release for future goals following a busy Christmas period.

Charity Stream:

We are incredibly lucky to be involved with an incredible fan base and supporters of Black Forge Games. One our goals has always been to give back in some way to the community and place we call home. We are going to be streaming this Saturday 29th of January here in New Zealand, which is Friday for most of you in the rest of the world! Yes we speak to you from the future :D.  Please stay tuned to our social media channels for more details and would love to see all of you there! Atleast to pop in and say hello. I'll be there and you'll recognize me I'm sure from the lack of beard :D

As the Viking's would say we hope you have had a happy and safe start to the new year! Hopefully many of you have had a chance to have a break :D We have some updates for you below for our beautiful Voljaryk:

Stretch Goals:

Exciting news Voljaryk's son's have begun their journey to your hands! We will provide some good insight next update about them :D

Packaging:

We are currently in the process of having the packaging order fulfilled and should have some sampling within the next month. We will share this in future updates for you and fulfilling the physicals pledges that were sold!

Voljaryk Update 14/12!

Kia ora one and all!

Fin here from Black Forge Games bringing you the latest update for Voljaryk campaign so lets jump right on in!

Timeline of production and Voljaryk delivery:

We have recently been receiving a number of messages regarding the release of Voljaryk and his digital stretch goals so thought we would re-iterate the expected timeline:

Voljaryk will be with you on the 22nd of December :D just in time for Christmas this will include the first base upgrade. We cannot wait to see what you do with him! 

Voljaryk print test:

We have successfully printed and put together Voljaryk's physical print we are just completing some small tweaks in order to deal with a minor line on the print and should have this resolved in the next day or two!

Ellika and Voljaryk's Choice:

We are full of great news today and this continues with the fact we are moving ahead with Voljaryk's choice model and will deem this has been reached! Check out a preview of the model's design below:

Ellika will be moving onto our website shortly with her retail price, but will still be readily available on the pledge manager so don't worry you can still get her hands on her through backerkit and who wouldn't want to when she looks as beautiful as this:

Finally I would like to express to all of you the thanks and love we have for this community! With Christmas coming up there may even be a cheeky picture of the BFG team making an appearance just in time for the opening of presents :D
