Fin (the beardless one) here from Black Forge Games, here to bring you the latest in Voljaryk gossip :o lot's of updates below so dig in:

Charity Stream:

One of the biggest drives that Luiz, Dan and I have had is to give back to the community we come from and this January we will be doing just that! We have partnered up with P_S_K_studio to present a charity painting stream on Twitch to raise awareness for Mental Health and donations will be given to a mental health based charity here in New Zealand and USA. We will release details through the regular Kickstarter updates and also our social media sites!

We would love to see you there and join us for a fun day/night of painting and chat!

Ellika Available:

For those who aren't already in the know the legendary Ellika will be available within the next 24h on late pledge, so check out the video below to see just how epic she is! She has been pre-supported by the amazing team from Atlas!

If you haven't acquired Ellika yet, you can do so by visiting the late pledge.

Voljaryk Pre-supporting:

We are happy to say the pre-supporting work is done for the man himself and with a few tests left remaining he should be in your hot little hands on the 20th of December including the first base!! Can't wait to see what you have instore for him and just in time for him to join your for Christmas :D

We have released the 3rd batch of the Soul Collector edition on the late pledge. This collectable set includes:

Hello to one and all,

My name is Fin the only member of the Black Forge Team without a beard on our website :D I will be bringing you the updates for The Ancestors - Voljaryk campaign:

Update Schedule

Our future updates will be fortnightly on a Tuesday between 7-8pm New Zealand Time. Our next update will be on the 30th and so on and so forth. 

Backerkit update

Our Backerkit campaign is going well and we are heading towards the Voljaryks Choice Diorama and it's getting close. So please check out the late pledge!

Ellika update

As we work towards the release of Voljaryk and his first base upgrade to all of you Ellika has been coming together beautifully and the updated details to the model are almost complete. We will be posting a sneak peak of her shortly on our social media, but be rest assured there will be pictures posted here as well as a bonus update!

Berserkers Fall Full Diorama UNLOCKED!

Kia Ora everyone!

Hope you all are having a great week.

The Pledge Manager/Late Pledge went live recently and we have already unlocked Berserkers Fall Full Diorama! We are now heading towards Voljaryks Choice Diorama!

We have already been exploring ways to divide it to make each part look good on its own while hiding the connectors.

Ideas

We were chatting with one of our beloved backers during the campaign when an idea was thrown at our team (thank you Francesco!) and it has been growing on us since then. The idea was to have the diorama plain with grass, stone gravel, rocks, and holes for LEDs and the elements (trees, stones, stones with runes, arrows, logs, etc.) separated to make the whole diorama customizable. So you could choose which elements to add around it and into the holes to make it shine with the LEDs.

Examples:

1. Hellish scenario

You pick only fire elements to go with the LEDs to recreate a battlefield surrounded by fire only/

2. Holy ground

You pick mostly rocks with runes to recreate a holy ground of some sort.

3. Gate to Valhalla

You add mostly trees and logs with fire to recreate the aftermath of the "explosion" of the gates opening.

The names and scenarios would be totally up to you, and we think that providing that option for all backers would be great. You could also use all these separated elements in other characters and Dnd Campaigns. If most of you want to have this option, we can add this as a final stretch goal or addon.

So please let us know what you think!

Ps: There will be no changes in the Berserkers Fall Stretch Goal because it's an official event of Blood Oak. This idea would be the 2nd version of it with further broken down parts for customization, for those wanting to explore with it more.

1. Pledge Manager & Late Pledge

We have submitted our Pledge Manager/Late Pledge for review last week and we expect it to go live anytime in the next 48 hours.

We have also attached a small feedback survey to all pledges so you guys can let us know what you would like for us to improve for the next Campaign so we can keep improving your experience with our sculpts and the Blood Oak Universe.

2. Ellika Figure

Since we have added more details to her figure and changed her pose from the original (Blood Oak C1 version), the expected time for her delivery will be in November, while the Bust will be aimed at being delivered in December right after Voljaryk and his first base upgrade.

3. Merchant Licenses

We have contacted all merchants via email to get some important information and to create special google drive folders for each of you. Thank you to everyone that replied to us, you can check the folders we created for you for the first renders/pictures and certificate.

If you haven't answered us yet, please do it asap so we can complete the files you will need for your site/shop within October.

4. Lore Books/Creatures Encyclopedia

As some of you know, lore and world-building are some of the biggest things behind Blood Oak, therefore we will start to release more materials about it for those interested in discovering more about the races and creatures that inhabit that universe. You can expect to start seeing the first batch of those arriving between December and January.

214% Funded! THANK YOU! + Pledge Manager + Merchants

Hello beautiful people!

We got 214% funded with most of the Stretch Goals Unlocked! And as mentioned before we will be carrying them over to Pledge Manager/Late Pledge so we can unlock them there.

All of that wouldn't be possible without your support and belief in our craft, so a big THANK YOU again from all of us from Black Forge Games.

We are currently working on the Pledge Manager/Late Pledge and we will go live with it next week! 

Merchants

We have some questions that we will be sending over by email to all Merchants in order for us to create our official license letter. We will also send an invitation for a special folder for Merchants-only once we go live with the Pledge Manager.

If you are a Merchant, please consider joining our Discord so we can invite you over to our Merchant private channel. This will greatly improve the communication and the relationship that we seek to have with everyone.
